Anti Retroviral

Anti-retroviral therapy (ART) is a treatment for HIV. It uses a mix of drugs to reduce the virus and help the immune system. Patients need to take their medicine regularly and see their doctor often to keep the treatment working well. ART helps people with HIV live better, but it does not cure the virus.
