Carica Papaya Leaf Extract

Dengue is transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito which in recent decades has become a major public health problem. Symptoms typically begin three to fourteen days after infection. This may include a high fever, headache, vomiting, muscle and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash. Current evidence suggests that those with a history of dengue fever are at highest risk for dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome. One of the clinical feature of dengue fever is the rapid fall in the platelet counts leading to deadly complications such as dengue hemorrhagic fever.

Carica Papaya leaf extract is now being widely used as a treatment for Dengue fever in many countries and in some with the approval of their health authorities. A large amount of biomedical research has been done on this subject. Papaya leaves are known to be packed with the enzymes like chymopapin and papain that, normalise the platelet count, improves the clotting factor (helps the blood clot normally), improves liver function and repairs the damage to the liver done by dengue, therefore helping an ailing person recover from the disease.

This crude form is not palatable and the consumption can cause diarrhea due to contamination.

To overcome the above mentioned problems Carica papaya leaf extract tablets have been developed under standard conditions with pleasant smell.

Dosage : 1 Tab TID for 5 Days or as recommended by physician (TID - Three times in a Day).
