About Glucowise M Tablet

Glucowise M Plus Tablet is prescribed by the doctors to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It belongs to the group of medications called “antidiabetic agents”. This medicine is a combination of two medicines, metformin and teneligliptin that control high blood sugar level. On one hand, metformin acts by decreasing liver glucose production and intestinal glucose uptake, on the other hand, teneligliptin increases the insulin levels in the body and reduces the glucagon levels.

These tablets work best when complimented with exercise program and healthy diet. Glucowise M Plus Tablet should not be stopped unless the doctor recommends it. There are certain side effects of this tablet like diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and headache.   • Glucowise M Plus Tablet should be taken as prescribed by the doctor.
  • The dosage is determined by the doctor.
  • Metformin lowers glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity, and teneligliptin helps increase insulin release after meals and lowers excess sugar production.
  • If the side effects become extreme, consult your doctor immediately.
