Hetnit is a broad-spectrum urinary antibiotic, primarily used to treat and prevent uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections (UTIs)-especially cystitis caused by common uropathogens like E. coli.

  • Once in the urine, Nitrofurantoin is activated inside bacteria, where it forms reactive intermediates.
