Ofloxacin is a 2nd generation Fluoroquinolone. It acts by inhibiting DNA gyrase II and Topoisomerase IV, thus inhibits DNA synthesis. It is bactericidal in nature. Ofloxacin is a broad spectrum antibiotic covering Gram positive, Gram negative and A typical bacteria.
Hifen Plus 100 mg/100 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
