About Hetrofer 500Mg Injection

HETROFER is an injection to boost Hb level & replenish stores. It is used to treat a type of anaemia where one has fewer amount of red blood cells due to insufficient iron in body (iron-deficiency anaemia). Iron is needed to produce the red blood cells that carry oxygen in the body. HETROFER Injection is given by injection or infusion (saline drip) into a vein by doctor or nurse. One will be watched carefully to make sure one does not have an allergic reaction. It is usually given in two doses, seven days apart. Doctor will decide how much and how often one may need injections to improve anaemia.

If one does not have enough iron from the foods one eats (because of poor nutrition or poor absorption of the minerals), body will produce fewer red blood cells and can cause anaemia. HETROFER Injection is an iron boosting product. It can boost levels of red blood cells and reduce the symptoms of anaemia such as tiredness and weakness.
