Cefpodoxime Proxetil is orally active prodrug of Cefpodoxime, which belongs to third generation cephalosporin antibiotics. Cefpodoxime is a bacterial cell wall synthesis inhibitor and active against most of the Gram positive and Gram negative aerobes and anaerobes.
