About Lyceft Plus 1.5Gm Injection

Lyceft Plus 1.5 gm Injection is a fixed-dose combination of Ceftriaxone Sodium 1000 mg and Sulbactam Sodium 500 mg, manufactured by Hetero Healthcare Limited. Ceftriaxone is a cephalosporin antibiotic that destroys bacteria by disrupting cell wall formation, while Sulbactam blocks beta-lactamase enzymes that bacteria use to resist treatment. Together, they offer broad-spectrum coverage against gram-positive and gram-negative organisms. This is a prescription-only (Schedule H) medicine and must be administered strictly under medical supervision.

Usage Instructions

  • Lyceft Plus 1.5 gm Injection is administered only by a trained healthcare professional in a clinical setting and must never be self-administered.
  • The reconstituted solution is given as a slow intravenous injection, an intravenous infusion, or a deep intramuscular injection, based on the severity and type of infection.
  • Do not skip any scheduled appointments for administering this injection.
  • Sudden discontinuation of the injection may worsen and affect the potency of the medicine.

  • Pregnancy:

  • Breastfeeding:
  • Small quantities of Ceftriaxone and Sulbactam may pass into breast milk, so caution is advised while breastfeeding. Your doctor will weigh the therapeutic benefit against any possible effect on the nursing infant before advising its use.
  • Alcohol:

  • Kidney Disorders:
