Hydrocortisone
Hydrocortisone sodium succinate is an anti-inflammatory steroid. Hydrocortisone sodium succinate has the same metabolic and anti-inflammatory actions as hydrocortisone.
This medicine is used to treat a condition where the body is not able to produce sufficient amounts of steroidal hormones. This may be caused due to improper functioning of adrenal glands which secrete these hormones or the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus which regulate the hormone release process. Lycortin S 100 mg Injection is also used for the regulation of steroidal hormone levels during surgeries.
