About Perzea Injection

Pertuzumab is indicated for the treatment of:

Metastatic HER2+ breast cancer in combination with trastuzumab and docetaxel for the treatment of patients who have not received prior anti-HER2 therapy or chemotherapy for metastatic disease.

Pertuzumab works by targeting the HER2 protein on the breast cancer cells thereby inhibiting its growth and proliferation.

Pertuzumab 420 mg injection is given as an 840 mg loading dose and 420 mg maintenance dose – both as intravenous infusion only. This injection is given to you by the doctor or a nurse in a hospital. You should inform your doctor regarding any specific allergies you have or if you are on any other medications. Please do inform your doctor if you are pregnant or lactating.

In women, the most common adverse reactions reported were diarrhea, alopecia, neutropenia, nausea, fatigue, rash, and peripheral neuropathy.
